    There are currently 11 buses in City Sightseeing livery and 6 in Majestic Tour livery, plus the test bus 232 in The 3 Bridges livery. That adds up to 18 buses.

    It was difficult to plan a new route in time for relocating the terminus to Waterloo Place so it was decided to follow the sane route as City Sightseeing as a short term solution. There has now been a rethink and a variation through the New Town has been planned.

    X50 was the original Britannia service from Waverley Bridge using the white Olympian 433. There was previously a service 99 that ran from Waverley to Harry Ramsden’s fish restaurant at Newhaven.

    It was planned to be a mobile ticket office/promotional vehicle to replace the Marshall-bodied Dart but never completed. So sold in unfinished condition.

    Not all of the new E400s have AVL (trackers) fitted. Therefore can’t be tracked.

    It’s a demonstrator. Lothian is going to use it on trials for a few days.

    If the manual ramps become dislodged the bus loses transmission and has to stop for the ramp to be locked back into place. Bit inconvenient if it happens in the middle of a junction.

    Bright Bus has stopped running their A2 Britannia Tour. I don’t know if this is an end of season finish or if it’s permanent.

    946 is in a new livery but not sure which fleet it’s for yet.

    All buses that still have old-style roller destination screens are to have them replaced by new digital screens in the next couple of months.
