I can't find another thread on this tour.

Does anyone know when the timings will be available on Realtime Trains?

Any ideas on the 20s?

Just as an update, the following are operational:

- 20096 20107 20132 20314 20905

20118 is awaiting wheelsets shortly. 20901 is still at the Bluebell required lorrying to Barrow Hill for similar treatment. 20311 has PU issues

It'd be nice to have a Blue loco at one end and a Railfreight loco at the other end.

I'm not sure all these times are correct?
Pathfinder tours states 90mins at Eastbourne when RTT only shows 15 mins...

Pathfinder can only really anticipate what will happen when they advertise tours, it all depends what comes back from Network Rail: I'm not sure how able or willing charter companies are to request something different once they get confirmed times. Whilst there are some differences between the proposed and confirmed timings on this tour, I have seen relatively recently seen a tour whose name escapes me where set down points had to be pulled owing to engineering works, so they can't always get their way.

Charter companies can quite easily reject timings but more often than not this is done before they appear on the system

Strange that there's still nothing on RTT after the tour arrives at Portsmouth Harbour.

Also common that some times may be released and others aren't

As I mentioned before, this set of timings may have been rejected by the operator and could be being scrutinized and altered at the moment

Or they just haven't been done

Do Pathfinder tours stock have openable windows? Id like to record parts of the journey behind the 20 by poking my camera out a little bit (no window hanging), like most WCRC stock.
No idea if the windows will be barred up or openable like the WCRC stock I used to go on.

Depends if they're using aircon Mk2 carriages or not. The traction is top and tailed class 20/9 locos, do these have ETH?

There's several factors to consider.

1. Do GBRf sign Mk 1 stock on their Safety Case?
2. I'm not sure if ETH is required due to the Summer weather, so a Genny Van might not be in the stock.
3. As it's a Buffer Puffer tour it'd be restricted to 7/8 carriages, which would restrict the amount of seated accommodation with a Genny Van.
4 As per locos, not sure if the 20/9s are both available, one was at the Bluebell Railway awaiting removal by road, so it's likely to be 20/0s.

The thought of a long hot day in a set of Mk 2 Air Cons(Coffins) wouldn't be pleasant, glad it's Mk 1s.
