Hello, I see in all the shops they are allways selling throttles, peddels etc... for flight simulators.
Isn't it about time someone made some hand throttles, aws reset buttons, vigilance pedel and horn for use with train sims? As i am quite fed up just pushing buttons on the keyboard!

Does anyone know if there any for sale? Or any being made?

Thanks

With planes it tends to be quite easy to make these products as there is a sort of "universal" set up between something as small as a Cessna to something as big as a Boeing 747. The only plane that breaks this trend is the Airbus, but even this has the throttle levers.

With trains, it is a niché market. To add to this not every train has a universal set up, some have a combined power/brake handle, so have seperate. Every cab layout is different.

This isn't why, it's just my opinion as to why they aren't made like flight sim stuff is.

You can get hold of Raildriver which exists, don't know anyone who has tried it though or indeed if it works with bve

Raildriver does not work with BVE, however in Trainz and Rail Simulator it is excellent!

I use a joystick to BVE which I find much easier to use, only downside is that you have to hold it in position.

Don't you mean configure? Calibrating is for measuring equipment, to make it accurate again.

Well when you install a new Game Controller it does ask you to calibrate it. In the calibration wizard I've made it to get mine so that when it is in the dead centre the system thinks it's slightly higher - the effect on BVE is that it is held in brake step 1 when the joystick is not being moved.
