Passing Shields 314207/211 were stables pan down. Think 207 had wheel chocks on
Is this common practice or does this mean it's the end for these units?

Where are they headed? Scrap?Travelled on 314209 from Bishopton to Glasgow Central.

314208 also present pan up
All quite normal for stabled AC traction. you press auxilaries set, the aux compressor charges the pan reservior, then the pan goes up, then all the rest of the main auxilaries kick in.Is this common practice or does this mean it's the end for these units?
Was 314211 definitely at Shields? I thought 314204/211/212 were all stored at Yoker. 314207 was at Yoker but came back to life, along with 211, when the 385s had the brake problem. A few weeks later 204 and 211 went to Yoker. Is this common practice or does this mean it's the end for these units?

Sorry, yes I've got mixed up between 211 and 213. The situation is exactly as you describe above.I'm not local to the area by any stretch of the imagination, but according to my notes 204 + 212 + 213 are the ones currently stood down at Yoker. 212 went and never came back, 207 and 213 went then came back, then finally and most recently 204 and 213 went and probably won't come back.
Hope this helps.
Scotrail have tweeted that from today there will be only 29 remaining services operated by 314 units, down from 63. This number will continue to decline.
https://twitter.com/ScotRail/status/1071739733695442945?s=19Good news for Inverclyde - we've begun retiring our Class 314 fleet!
From today they'll only operate 29 services a day, down from the current 63.
As more are withdrawn, this'll reach zero! https://t.co/KAJmxau0Xs
Worth noting that this is seemingly referring to Inverclyde services only. I imagine they're still operating more than 29 services a day on the Cathcart Circle, Neilston, Newton and Paisley Canal routes:

At least one of the Newton via Maxwell Park diagrams is a 380 today so withdrawal of the 314s would appear to have started on this line too.

Yep. The one I saw going back and forth was even a 4 car, which I don’t recall seeing before on the circle line outside of Hampden events. Noticeably less 314s today. I’m interested to see what diagrams the 380s appear on tomorrow
201 failed due to a door fault Friday night, wonder if it’s curtains for that unit?
211 in Central tonight, just caught it departing double-headed with another 314 to Shields. ‘Not in Service’ on the blind201 is back in traffic, currently on 2319 Newton to Glasgow Central.
Ones which have not worked recently
314206 - not worked since 23-11
314211 - not worked since 28-11
314204, 314212 and 314213 at Yoker CS for store
All others are either in service or have worked within last 24 hours
.
Bizarrely most trains to Neilston are four car 380s now but there's still a 314 to Gourock all day and one to Wemyss Bay as well. Also half the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Cumbernauld trains are 380s. No doubt they will replace 314s once more 385s arrive.Worth noting that this is seemingly referring to Inverclyde services only. Wonder how long they'll hold out?
