320's pass Dalmarnock all the time so I am not sure what the issue is.
Again, I am not sure what the issue is.
And sadly, none of the 314s have passed through Hamilton in many years. My first suspicion with Hamilton was the different pantograph, a more recent version of the Brecknell-Willis, but on closer inspection I see it is the similar to a Class 334 (permitted for speeds up to 100mph)
In passenger use?
I suspect the monitors and/or CCTV cameras have been located in the wrong locations and/or there are visibility issues

Would you not agree that it's probably more likely they haven't got enough of the class 320 units refurbished and they want to spare Scotrail's blushes?

318's operate these services too and they have a totally different pantograph.
Why would it be an embarassment?
They have pretty much the same pantograph as 318's so I doubt it is a pantograph issue.

The Class 314 and 318 have a Faivley pantograph
The Class 334 has a lightweight high bracket aerofoil Brecknell-Willis pantograph
The Class 320 and 322 have a light low bracket aerofoil Brecknell-Willis pantograph
However, if Class 90 or 91 have been through Hamilton then the pantograph is not the issue
I still believe the issue is the CCTV screen and viewing from the cab of the Class 320, compared to the Class 318
This issue had already been highlighted on the Cathcart routes, hence why that transfer was scrapped a long, long time ago
Is there a tunnel or echo in here?Surely the problems will be rectified and the Argyle Line will get it's 8 class 320 units as promised by Scotrail?
Anyone get a chance to nab some photos of the interior?
If this picture of a refurbished class 314 is anything to go by, wow: http://www.rail.co/2011/04/11/first-of-16-scotrail-trains-receives-makeover/
Any idea on timings for the unit that's coming up and the one that's going down?
Will 320315 be going to kilmarnock or is it complete?
so far we only have 2 refurbished 320 on the north clyde line in operation units 314 and 315
unit306 is expected to be back up in october, the process is getting there, if only it was faster like send 2/3 units at once rather send 1 unit at a time

The following accounts are used by an individual who is obsessed with this topic (and also obsessed with air conditioning) who claims to be known as "Thomas McKinnin" (but this may not be his real name).you fail to grasp the fact that the units are required to deliver a minimum operational timetable... you know... for the passengers, that PAY to use the trains to get to and from work or school or where ever else...
the more units out of service for refurb or repaint means less seats for passengers (best case scenario) or canceled services (worst case scenario)
