Two more disposals are about to begin, as 43305 and 43367 Have moved up to Loughborough to provide spares for ScotRail's 43128 and 43169 - both of which are currently heading down by road to Loughborough. On a more positive note, this will finally see 128 enter traffic with ScotRail.

That's a bizarre choice of vehicles as spares donors given the significant differences between the GWR/ScotRail and East Coast/XC/GC/NR fleets.

It depends what spares are required. I’d imagine that UKRL has a reasonable cache of Brush control gear for the GWR and ex-GWR vehicles.

169 and 128 are in position to be removed with Alleys waiting for access. Looks like 169 will be going first as it's at the front.

Only if they were pulled out of the skips or hidden when the previous inhabitants pulled out of the site.

Was Wabtec savvy enough to move their Brush spares up to Doncaster?

Indeed. Don’t forget that Wabtec did a rather large auction of items left on site just after the closed down. It’s one reason why the Fuel Tank under the Baby Deltic is actually a spare tank for a class 158.
