Confirmed... 710 256 is doing the odd xx.15 off Watford / even xx.15 off Euston.
Definitely was the plan, the last significant order included 6 x 5 car 710/3 units especially for the NLL/WLL , to release the same number of 378s to the ELL where their end doors are a requirement. So are the 710s coming to the North London line?
Correction - it is (dual voltage) 378s from the NLL to ELL. (my bold - and I too get those two classes mixed up).Definitely was the plan, the last significant order included 6 x 5 car 710/3 units especially for the NLL/WLL , to release the same number of 387s to the ELL where their end doors are a requirement.
Yes of course…Correction - it is (dual voltage) 378s from the NLL to ELL. (my bold - and I too get those two classes mixed up).
I wonder why this is gong in a circle ?.
That’s exactly what was happening, as noted in the Flickr photo caption.I wonder why this is gong in a circle ?.
Maybe turning the unit round ?.
Oops missed the caption !. But why turn it round or move it at all - is delivery imminent (fingers crossed) ?.That’s exactly what was happening, as noted in the Flickr photo caption.
No, there are no new services starting yet for them to be required nor signs of proper progress on TfL funding deal.Have any more deliveries been made to London recently please?
270, 374, 375 + 379 are at Derby Litchurch Lane. Everything else has been delivered to Willesden or Ilford.Does anybody know the status of:
261
262
270
374
375
Please ?
You are correct - I noted 710377 at Gospel Oak going westbound at about 1230 (from my 710 waiting to leave on the GOBLIN).Almost certain I saw a 710 on a Stratford-CLJ run today
I seriously doubt it. As l understand it the plan is that they run on the North London Line to free up 378s for the East London Line.I was wondering if the 710 LO trains are going to be running from West Croydon and Crystal Palace to Highbury and Islington?
No they haven't got the emergency exit for the Thames tunnel between Rotherhithe and Wapping. Only class 378's will be on that line.I was wondering if the 710 LO trains are going to be running from West Croydon and Crystal Palace to Highbury and Islington?
You have them, it seems. Those that work to Clapham Junction then work to Richmond after returning to Stratford due to the interworkingWould be good to get the 710s on the Richmond branch!
No interworking any more, the Clapham and Richmond diagrams are normally kept separate and go back to whichever terminus they came from. You have them, it seems. Those that work to Clapham Junction then work to Richmond after returning to Stratford due to the interworkingThat’s how it used to be anyway, I’m sure it still is
It would've been either a 710/2 (4-car dual voltage) or a 710/3 (5-car dual voltage). The 710/1 range is 25kV only, and the 710/0 range doesn't exist!Saw one (might have been 710017?) on P17 at Clapham Junction this morning around 0840. Thought there was no access there due to a points failure? (No Southern services running to MKC)
Oops , not sure which one it was then, no idea why that number stuck in my head lolIt would've been either a 710/2 (4-car dual voltage) or a 710/3 (5-car dual voltage). The 710/1 range is 25kV only, and the 710/0 range doesn't exist!
There seem to be two or more 710/2s running with the 710/1s out of Liverpool Street. I got the impression a while ago that there was no need for the 710/3s on the North London Line until the East London Line needs the 378s that will be freed up from the North London Line. The three (out of 6) 710/3s so far delivered seem to spend their life on the Euston to/from Watford Junction line.I wonder now they are starting to spread their wings on the North London Line, if the remaining trio of 5 coach units will arrive soon (along with that last remaining /2)
The problem is from P17 towards Balham. Access to/from Kensington Olympia is fine.Saw one (might have been 710017?) on P17 at Clapham Junction this morning around 0840. Thought there was no access there due to a points failure? (No Southern services running to MKC)
