Reports that 93003 has arrived in the country and has left the Docks heading for Worksop.

Edit 22:15 93003 at Woodhall Services on M1 overnight, continues to worksop tomorrow (Wednesday 7th).

They've certainly started to arrive at a good pace now. I guess Stadler got a bit sick of them taking up space at their factory ;)

So that's 1, 2, 3 and 6 (4 out of 10) in the country now?

Just for the record I viewed 93003 at 08.45 am. on Wednesday May 7th. in the wide load bay at M1, Junction 24 roundabout which is to the south of Woodall Services.

Not seeing any paths as of now on Railcam. Are these tests delayed?
What about this one? Carlisle to Lancaster and back. 14 May only. Trailing load 715t

Ah OK. 715t is an awful lot of weedkiller! lol
maybe not: 100T of trailing loco, at least a couple of bogie tank wagons of water - maybe 3 or 4 - at 100T each, a tank of weedkiller concentrate (50T gross?) and the application vehicle with its power plant, pumps and metering/mixing equipment and the spray nozzles.

It's a long way between Carlisle, Lancaster and Windermere and back again, especially if you are pumping water out all the way... I doubt that they will have fire hoses out at Lancaster for a top-up!

It's just a timing load. I'd guess it's TR40 (timing reference 40) and the 715t is a nominal load for the reference loco. If its running with a difference class of loco (and I'm 99% sure the reference loco is setting like a 56) the trailing load would be adjusted proportionally. NR has tables for what each loco class can haul at each timing reference.
60-TR40 has quite good coverage of SRTs around the entire network and is often uused where a specific timing load does not exist for a moment, as trains will usually be able to meet the times comfortably without getting too far ahead of schedule.

Pretty sure I saw 93004 heading east on the M4 today. I haven’t seen any notifications about this one arriving in the UK. Where would it be heading (it was between J19 and J18).

93004 would have been the loco. Others saw it near Cribbs Causeway
