Unit number? hock: "County of Essex" is a loco! 47580 to be precise, formerly 47732.

I too have voted for number 3. That truly counts as a "chance shot."

I saw a Chunnel Shuttle engine on the back of a low loader on the motorway once, would have made a great entry to this compo.

I'm going to be a bit of a killjoy here, but normal diagrammed trains on regular services don't count as chance shots in my opinion, same goes for the picture of Shrewsbury signal box which has been there for how many years?

Luckily, I nearly always carry a camera - even more fortunate that I was there at that time, five minutes later and it would have been too late!
