Thanks. So do they intend to bring the loco back into use?Well, don't Land Recovery operate that site at Longport that recycles ballast?

* For legal reasons I retain the right as a fully qualified and practicing OAP to have put the same number twice although, hopefully, I haven't
That's pretty random, I work buy the WSR and I do sometimes see kettles go past when I'm in work,I've just seen 60012 go past the Wetherspoons at Stapleford on the back of a lorry!
Must be on the way to Radway Green then.I've just seen 60012 go past the Wetherspoons at Stapleford on the back of a lorry!
Is this the same route the previous class 60s have passed, or has the roadworks just popped up - as they tend to !!!Must be on the way to Radway Green then.
60012 on the back of the lorry seems to have got stuck. Currently stuck on QMC Island near Nottingham. Roadworks have closed one lane, and the remaining road is not wide enough for the load to pass
Must be just the roadworks. Because of the canal bridge in Sandiacre, I understand the loads are going out to the QMC Island then up to junction 26 of the M1.Is this the same route the previous class 60s have passed, or has the roadworks just popped up - as they tend to !!!
Thanks. Given that the movements appear to be going via Derby, I was wondering why the they needed the M1 at all.Must be just the roadworks. Because of the canal bridge in Sandiacre, I understand the loads are going out to the QMC Island then up to junction 26 of the M1.
Has it left already? That’s the one I’ve not been able to get sight of60084 pictured on Class 60 facebook today being transported

Damn. I think a few have them have been parked up a while, I wonder if it will still be there tonight?Yes, there are a couple of photos on WNXX this morning of it in the Uttoxeter layby yesterday afternoon
Slightly off piste, although it was a DB loco of course, is that DCR 60099 is supposed to be going to Loughborough for reinstatement work this year, will that get an engine rebuild I wonder, plenty of other 60s there to borrow/steal from, or will some outside jiggery pokery take place?
Work on 60099 is well underway. Be nice to see that one back. DCR seem to be doing well, hoping to win more work - will give them impetus to repair some of the other 60s they have, or perhaps they have a few from the most recent DBC batch as well.
How many ’demic’ 60s are left at Toton?
1 at Crewe?I make it 46 along with the 1 at Toton, then there's the 5 that are stored but still DB locos
1 at Crewe?
