I believe so although I've not found any pictures of it since leaving Toton, meanwhile Rail Scene facebook have a picture of 60093 on a trailer leaving Toton today

* Just seen an update on todays WNXX news, 60032 & 60048 are at Radway Green while 60078 has also been moved into position for extraction by road

** Updated Saturday 22nd June **

60078 pictured this morning, looking good in its Mainline Freight blue, at Uttoxeter on its way to join 032, 048 & 093, in a you tube video on Class 60 facebook there are currently nine track panels in place at "a Land Recovery facility near Alsager" with a further pile waiting to be laid, presumably when the first nine 60s have been delivered

** Updated Tuesday 25th June **

Reported on WNXX this morning that 60078 has now joined 032, 048 & 093 at Radway Green, 60089 is the latest to be moved from Toton although, reportedly, by a different route, 052 is the next to go while 012, 068 & 084 have been piped up for the move from the Yard to the TMD, I believe that just leaves 036, 037 & 077 awaiting their turn

The report also states that "The Land Recovery 60s are at the Land Recovery owned White Moss Quarry at Radway Green next to the abandoned former garden centre, just past the traffic lights on the way to Crewe. They are not allowing anyone any access to the site at the moment and the Class 60s are not visible from the access road. Apparently in about a fortnight, when all 12 have been delivered, the owner will let people come and see them"

Another whopping bunch available for sale today, I make it 31, on the DB Disposal site

003/005/023/025/027/030/031/033/034/035/041/042/043/045/049/051/053/054/058/067/069/071/072/073/082/083/088/091/094/097/500

All at Toton barring 082 at Crewe, closing date 19th April

So to try to get an up to date situation

12 in January 2023 - 012/032/036/037/048/052/068/077/078/084/089/093 which are the Land Recovery batch, all at Toton

13 - 002/021/026/047/056/076/085/087/095/096 operational with GBRf, 014 @ Longport, 004 @ Toton & 018 @ Loughborough Brush all transferred to the GBSD storage pool

5 - 011/017/024/062/074 stored with DB

* For legal reasons I retain the right as a fully qualified and practicing OAP to have put the same number twice although, hopefully, I haven't

Not a lot of changes to be reported, no news on the 31 listed for sale with a 19th April closing date and no news on the buyers of the 16 listed in March, the only movements are from the Land Recovery batch of which 032/048/078/089/093 are at Radway Green with 012/036/037/052/068/077/084 still at Toton

Confirmed. We passed it on the Derby side of the A50 Uttoxeter roundabout this morning and evening. Looks in a shabby state.

Must be on the way to Radway Green then.

60012 on the back of the lorry seems to have got stuck. Currently stuck on QMC Island near Nottingham. Roadworks have closed one lane, and the remaining road is not wide enough for the load to pass

Is this the same route the previous class 60s have passed, or has the roadworks just popped up - as they tend to !!!

Must be just the roadworks. Because of the canal bridge in Sandiacre, I understand the loads are going out to the QMC Island then up to junction 26 of the M1.

Thanks. Given that the movements appear to be going via Derby, I was wondering why the they needed the M1 at all.

Slightly late with this but might as well share my shot of 60078 I nabbed on the A50 whilst heading home from The Return of the Jolly Fisherman HST tour.

I took this at 23:48 on a Saturday night and I have to say fair play to the chap who was also there, tripod and all, over the other side of the road getting snaps of the loco :D

60068 reported on WNXX as ready to be loaded at Toton last Friday, if I'm correct that's 012, 032, 048, 052, 078, 084, 089 & 093 at Radway Green with 068 on it's way leaving just 036, 037 & 077 at Toton

Slightly off piste, although it was a DB loco of course, is that DCR 60099 is supposed to be going to Loughborough for reinstatement work this year, will that get an engine rebuild I wonder, plenty of other 60s there to borrow/steal from, or will some outside jiggery pokery take place?

Work on 60099 is well underway. Be nice to see that one back. DCR seem to be doing well, hoping to win more work - will give them impetus to repair some of the other 60s they have, or perhaps they have a few from the most recent DBC batch as well.

It'll be interesting to see what a job UKRL can do with 099, look forward to seeing it out and about
