What I assume to be 6J57 (as per the previous post) has just (at 18:08) passed over the Wicker Arches heading towards Deepcar.
66120 was the loco , as was the norm previously it had worked the Masbrough - Hedon Rd and return earlier then went onto 6J57 . I didn’t catch the outward as it was 30 minutes early.66120 I think on it
I see the steel trains have started running again. A loaded one went up tonight.
I heard some staff on site are being paid 75% wages to stay at home. After a spate of regular runs recently the steel train seems to have stopped again. It’s around two weeks since it ran.

This arrangement in place for another week.
In the hope that explains something.Th
I would have thought a good indication that it will run will an STP L/E in either direction , when it ran for a week or so regularly that’s how it presented in RTT.Thanks Tim. Yes that would explain things. Now we have the light evenings back I’m going to look at venturing out in the hope of capturing the Steel Train when it returns.
To add some detail from that article:Guardian is reporting that 160 jobs are to go at the steelworks in Stocksbridge.
(from https://www.theguardian.com/busines...-steel-jobs-cut-south-yorkshire-west-midlands)Liberty Steel has announced plans to cut 200 jobs in the UK at plants in South Yorkshire and the West Midlands, as industrialist Sanjeev Gupta’s metals group looks to shift production to Rotherham.
The company said on Friday that it would cut 160 jobs at a plant in Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire, and 45 in West Bromwich in the West Midlands as it focused production on the plant in Rotherham, also in South Yorkshire.
Liberty said an increase in production at Rotherham could create a “potential” 160 new jobs, meaning that many of the affected workers in Stocksbridge may have the option to move to the nearby plant.
Aye I caught a glimpse of the light engine returning from Stockbridge at Neepsend around 19:50. The line is fenced off and rather overgrown but I think it was 60 007 that was on the diagram tonight.Something ran tonight too
