No. I sign up to Carlisle and just beyond it as far as the DB yard at Kingmoor, and the majority of the signals in that area are the old bulb style signals.

i believe its fully bulbs between Carlise and Edinburgh/Motherwell area on the WCML

Don't know what the drivers do, but if the driver sat down on the train delayed at Lockerbie, that driver may have been the one booked to work the next one north from Edinburgh

In theory, if tried on indictment in the High Court, it carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment!

Yes but there are battles to pick and others it's not worth the energy getting angry about. Although the terminology would conjure up an image of somebody vandalising a traditional levers and bells signalbox rather than a relay cabinet, at the end of the day it's neither here nor there as the general public aren't being sent to repair it.

Unfortunately it's not that pathetic, as the BBC News app normally contains punctuation, spelling, bad english and grammer errors on what seems a daily basis. And when those errors are being noticed by someone who failed their English O Level at school it really says how low the standards have fallen (and the lack of proof reading before publishing articles).

That has not been the case for at least a decade.
Parcels are the overwhelming majority of RM’s traffic. Letters are in massive decline as business to consumer letters are obsolete. Communication with customers are done via emails, texts or messages in the inbox of your online account.

Re: Control Log stuff. This should never be shared under any circumstances and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Network Rail tighten up access after this. Would suggest to mods that whenever a post appears to contain control log info, that it is deleted ASAP. It should never be shared outside the railway.
