Don't even know where its going after Maanchester Victoria. All top secret. My guess is still in the NorthWest tomorrow morning
According to the news tonight, the three days of the tour included Sunday which only started around 10:30pm, so the last day is tomorrow, when they are supposed to be doing Cardiff and dropping them off in the Slough area for Windsor Castle. Shame the train can't do the Slough-Windsor branch. That would be good for haulage.

De-brief for her Majesty including who supported and who hissed and booed and therefore who should be sent to the Tower.

Would think it would head towards Cardiff then possibly Bristol and back along GWML

What is the point of using the train for something like this? Wouldn't it have made more sense to just drive them around in a car?
Kate requires 67005 and 67006 for haulage...

But no, driving them round in a car would be a pretty dumb way of doing it. Using the train for this is actually a very good idea.

Its left Manchester and heading through Eccles now towards Warrington. Good stabling facilities South of Bank Quay?

Hats off to the Milton Keynes planner who sorted all these paths out.

(Reminds me of the thread about how difficult it would be to automate train planning. This is a textbook example of 'how do you automate this?")

Heading South on the West Coast Main Line. No doubt off to Cardiff and Bristol before tea and debrief at Granny’s pad in Windsor tomorrow evening.

Platform 5 Crewe

Route set for Nantwich, so looks like the North & West route down the Marches.
Once it leaves the Cardiff ROC signalling area approaching Shrewsbury, it might be hard to follow until Cardiff ROC picks it up again (Cwmbran).
