Ta muchlyIt recently returned to Etches from Barrow Hill and hasn’t left there since I believe
A good list, however I was under the belief that 180110 isn’t a 4 car unit. I was told by someone at work that the damaged coach will be repaired and it’ll return to service as a 5 car180110 - EMR outgoing livery (4 car unit)
I heard this in another thread as well - apparently it’s more expensive to keep it as a four car unit due to the software mods required, so the damaged coach is receiving the necessary corrosion repairs.A good list, however I was under the belief that 180110 isn’t a 4 car unit. Do we know which carriage number is receiving the repairs and where it is occurring please?I heard this in another thread as well - apparently it’s more expensive to keep it as a four car unit due to the software mods required, so the damaged coach is receiving the necessary corrosion repairs.
I’m not sure on the carriage number but it’s been sat at Doncaster WABTEC for a few months nowDo we know which carriage number is receiving the repairs and where it is occurring please?
56910 so the buffet carDo we know which carriage number is receiving the repairs and where it is occurring please?
Thank you - is the work being carried out at Etches Park?56910 so the buffet car
Nope, Doncaster Wabtec - I believe 110’s been there since April/May…Thank you - is the work being carried out at Etches Park?
It's 158889 it has been with EM for a while.I was on an EMR 158 yesterday with former 1st class seating area. It looked like it must have been with EMR/EMT for a while - so I am guessing it was ex SWT, but I have never encountered it before. Also softer seat cushions in standard too by the looks of them. Must not have been part of EMT's 158 refurb programme.
On alighting I could not see the unit number. Does anyone know what unit this is, and when it came to East Mids?
158889 formerly known as 158808, transferred from Salisbury about 6 years ago. It had the standard SWT refurbishment rather than the EMT one as it was on hire for a number of years before permanently transferring.I was on an EMR 158 yesterday with former 1st class seating area. It is in the revised East Midlands Trains Mainline livery with East Midlands Railway branding. So is this unit in the SET or EMT Stagecoach livery?
For a period it ran in SWT livery with EMT branding before receiving EMT livery like the other 158s.So is this unit in the SET or EMT Stagecoach livery?
Thanks very much!Nope, Doncaster Wabtec - I believe 110’s been there since April/May…
Unless 111’s at Doncaster, looks like 110’s ready to come back Wednesday… https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K03504/2021-09-15/detailed
I take it 56910 will not be returning to the set, unless it’s still having corrosion repairs?180110 is back at Etches Park as a 4 car unit, the 56910 (buffet) car removed as above (apologies for mis-info, I was informed otherwise at work). I believe the idea is to run this in multiple with other 180s to create 9 car formations
156 training has begun on the Barton Line which means 153's days are numbered
Guess EMR are pulling a WMR seeing as the 170s won’t be coming over any time soon…Just seen a picture of 156402 (ex 902) in Northern colours and EMR branding heading to Etches Park.
About time too. Question now is whether the rest of the 158s will get the same?It also seems that they are getting to work with the second half of livery-ing the meridian fleet. With 222102 being the first unit in many months to have the interim purple applied.

222103 has already been done, I drove it last Wednesday, 102 was being prepped in the sheds last Friday but might be out by now (not out today though)It also seems that they are getting to work with the second half of livery-ing the meridian fleet.
