Rationality Rules: Atheism, general debunking of pseudoscience. He's unfairly (IMO) considered persona non grata in some circles but then if you're in those circles you already know all about that.
I do, and for the most part it has... But there's always a few that won't forgive, forget or accept!Do you mean the Atheist Experience transgender controversy? I thought that had blown over.
Paul Joseph Watson for political comment... not for the faint hearted though!

I read books too, on all sorts of stuff, generally about three on the go at any time.I am fine for education and entertainment, thanks. I get that by reading widely in, you know, old fashioned books writ by them actual experts. I have absolutely no interest in crack pot enthusiasts wibbling on about machinery or dull stuff.
But you have a very narrow view of Youtube. I do some serious work on cars, and seeing other guys doing a job I am intending to do myself helps a lot. I'm not talking about repairs at the Haynes book level (they are for beginners these days) but things like dismantling gearboxes. I do have books at the other extreme, like the official workshop manual for my car; it is 7000 pages long and despite (or because of) that it is almost useless.
Another occasional hobby of mine is scam baiting. I don't think there are any books on the subject and even if there were they would not demonstrate successful baiting styles - you need to hear it done. Scammer Payback on Youtube for example.
Although it was useful when I had to rewire a pug the other day and forgot the wiring colourings!
As for preferring the printed word over 'crackpot enthusiasts' on YouTube, I have to disagree.
You’re not using the right kind of elastic band.On the other hand I've had very little luck building a free energy perpetual motion machine based on the guidance of YouTubers. Funnily enough their devices always seem to work fine, I must be doing something wrong.

Mine works fine.
That’s a good point. I’ve got myself into difficulties again.Soon you will find out the drawback with your perpetual motion machine. How do you stop it?
