They (along with Montpellier) have been a handy "feeder-club" for us for the last couple of years!
They make players and then sell them, but they are second best in France.
Darlington are still in the same league as Bradford and the two teams will meet on the 30th of October! #wearebradford
I hope you don't have to wait as long as we have to get back into the Football League. It's been almost 50 years since our last derby against our Manningham neighbours, leaving us 21-20 ahead with 11 draws.
Brackley away on Saturday and we now have a direct Saturday bus from MK to Brackley. What joy! Only an hour to do 20 miles
It is on a Tuesday night. Again. I cant get from MK and back after the match sadly. Darlo Fans Radio for me.
I have spent some time thinking about football and arrived at these conclusions.
Any team that features ' Hi Ho Silver Lining' in their pre-match build up should be automatically relegated one division.
''Liquidator" by Harry J and the All Stars gets you a two division drop.
I look forward to a civilised debate.
Agree wholeheartedly on the first, I'm afraid I don't know the second by name!
Wolves have used both. So that's a three division drop for them.
Never heard of Liquidator so popped it into YouTube.
So that’s what that song is called!!
Fort William 0 ... Turriff United 10
Not many sides concede double figures three times in the first four matches of a league season.
Brackley 2 v Darlo 4
Darlo 4 up inside 30 minutes through a Reece Styche hat trick leading to a great away win against one of the favoroured sides in national north. Thanks to Stagecoach I didn't see the game as my bus from MK didn't stop at the assigned bus stop despite me standing with my arm like a massive bus w*nker. Thanks chaps.
I. Hate. Buses.
I have a feeling that Derby also qualify. Mind you, if they continue to play the way they did tonight they will be heading down anyway.
I'm a Leeds fan- Derby actually didn't play that bad and they were better than Stoke, but due to better finishing on the day we bagged an extra goal. For me the game was lost on a tactical level. I don’t think Derby are a bad team, they had a couple of decent spells today and I think they will finish nearer the top than the bottom of the league.
From a Leeds perspective, I’m obviously delighted that we’ve put in two great performances now and against decent teams too. Some superb goals yesterday.
We’ve got Bolton in the cup on Tuesday, I hope we play a much changed team as we have good players that haven’t featured yet so we need to get them involved and see how they play with our new tactics.
Then it’s Rotherham at home on Saturday. We’ve traditionally struggled in derby games, so this will be a big test.
As a Wolves fan, we would be totally screwed if that happened! At least such a bonkers rule does not exist, meaning I can capture moments like Neves stunning Free-Kick!
One heck of an adventure has begun.
....... and 'Popcorn' gets you sent to the SPL.
An excellent 4-0 win for Liverpool against West Ham this afternoon.
I don't think we played to the best of our abilities either, which is very encouraging.
Yeah, not a bad result.
Klopp helps his mate out by making sure we aren't bottom of the table after yesterdays 0-3 defeat at home to Chelsea. A scoreline that felt a tad harsh from my admittedly biased perspective. Up next, Manchester City at the Etihad... easy-peasy!
Arsenal return to losing ways.
Didn't Huddersfield get a good result against City last season?
Fingers crossed for another one (or two) this season.
Forest Green 1-1 Oldham
Oldham pick up they first point of season but if our on loan Leicester goalkeeper didn't pull off some good saved in second half we more than likely to lost this match.
Oldham 3-1 Macclesfield
Good win for Oldham which I thought they deserve victory. Macclesfield look poor side and only really threat in last 30 mins of match.
I see Fort William have kept up they record of conceding double figures for this season.
Inverurie Loco Works 10 - Fort William 0
Evo Stik League...Premier Division
Hyde United 1 ... Basford United 0
A win for Hyde on the first game of the season after promotion, with the winner coming just after half-time.
Their record this season is now ......P5...W0 D0 L5...F2 A48...Pts 0
Next time I’m in Fort William I’m going to ask for a trial.
I'm watching this match at the moment - not looking good for you guys!
So far on my favourite team:
Hull City 1-3 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 3-2 Wigan Athletic
Ipswich Town 1-1 Aston Villa
So P3 ... W2 D1 L0 ... F7 A4 GD3 ... Pts 7
I'm wondering if Ben Hamer knows the first thing about goalkeeping... he looked good at Charlton back in 2012, but that was in League One.
3-1 now though... the comeback starts now!
He was poor in the few games he played for Leicester. Leicester fans were amazed when he moved to another Premier League club, and we assumed he'd just be second or third choice.
He was signed as cover for Lössl but had a good pre-season. There's rumours that Lössl came back from Russia in poor shape and that's why Hamer was picked for the first two games. Can't see Hamer still starting next week though.
