Hi all
The weekend is nearly upon us and here is the loco rota for Stapleford Steam 9th 10th June
Loco rota as follows for both days which is slightly altered this year to the usual due to the absence of the Berkshire this year:
Green and Saint paired from 10-00 till 12-00
NYC Niagara from 10:15
EAR 31 class from 11:15
From 12-00 onwards, the Saint will pair with the Warship Diesel which will provide assistance only as required and the Green Atlantic will then operate solo
This will give us 4 loco sets in operation from 12-00 both days and is the first time for some years the Diesel will have been in public service. This will not only provide a unique photo opportunity but also allows us flexibility while still retaining the atmosphere of steam traction on all our trains for passengers
