FTPE Class 170/3 Saturday Diagrams

Just a quick one, i'm planning Sheffield soon and i've looked at timings from Manchester and it's at least 50 minutes on a 185! I hate 185's with a passion so i'm asking if anyone knows which Cleethorpes diagrams are timed for a turbostar on a Saturday Please?

Yes I was thinking about the EMT And I do love 158's, however as I need to be on the 08:32? service to Nottingham I wouldn't be able to make the EMT At Piccadilly

You could always go on the 0645 stopper from Manchester Picc to Sheffield. Nice 1hr 18 minute journey on a pacer and on a sunny crisp winter morning, its a beautiful ride along the Hope Valley Line.

I am half-joking. Only I'd love something like that

The 13xx Manchester Airport - Cleethorpes and 16:2x return from Cleethorpes have been 170s on Saturdays when I have seen them in the past year or so - sometimes a pair of 170s. I think that 7 units are needed for the entire service - if correct, the previous working would possibly be 06xx from Manchester. All the other diagrams seem to be 185s.

On a Saturday the 07:01 or 08:17 off Meadowhall to Cleethorpes is 2x170 i am sure. I think it is the 08:17. But i can't say for sure.

As planned it will be the 07.01; with the exception of Fridays which should see 185s all day, the first Weekday/Saturday through service to Cleethorpes is diagrammed for 170s, returning with the 09.26 CLE-MIA.

185's are too loud, the ride quality is rubbish and the seats are uncomfy

It should be 12:55 Man airport 13:20 Man Pic, and the 14:55 Man airport 15:20 Man Picc, but that could be week days.

First train from Manchester to Cleethorpes is usually 2x170s.
0555 (could be slightly earlier departure) MIA-CLE, 0926 CLE-MIA, 1255 MIA-CLE, 1626 CLE-MIA.
The 1455 MIA-CLE is a 170 on Monday-Thursday
