Does anyone know what times class 170's run between Stockport [SPT] and Manchester Piccadilly [MAN]?

No problem.
I believe there is/was an overnight working in week, unsure on what services though. There is also, I believe, a single diagram on a Saturday which uses 2x170, which starts with the 0520 Manchester Airport-Cleethorpes. There used to be a Manchester-Doncaster-Manchester-Cleethorpes-Manchester (2x170) diagram on a Sunday, not sure if that is still the case.

When I was on Cleethorpes station last Saturday, there was an officially printed poster clearly displayed that said whilst most TPE services were 3- car sets, a busy afternoon service (1626, I think) would only be a 2-car set.

Strange logic, indeed.

Last time I saw a TPE 170 on the Cleethorpes route on Saturday, was back in September. I passed 2x170 as they departed Meadowhall on the 0520 Manchester-Cleethorpes (which then would of worked 0926 CLE-MIA, 1255 CLE-MIA, 1626 CLE-MIA). I think that poster relates to Weekday services?

There is one that runs via Stockport on a Friday daytime:

06:55 Manchester Airport - Cleethorpes (Working this from MIA-SHF tomorrow)
10:26 Cleethorpes - Manchester Airport. We then swap it at MIA for a 185, while the 170 then works a York diagram.

Cheers for the information, assume that is a recent change as when the 170s were introduced on South TPE there was no Friday working.

170s have been doing Manchester - York on Sundays for quite sometime and AFAIK it is regular occurance. 1302/1502/1702 stick out, they are all pathed for 100mph and 158s so could accommodate. I've certainly seen a double? 170 from memory on the 1302 Piccadilly - York on a number of occasions.

The Friday 06:55 MIA-CLE and return has been booked a 170 for around 3yrs now.
