I have a University of Manchester geological paper from a lecture in which it states that an area about one mile east of the Wrekin has both pre-Cambrian gneisses and schists that have been dated as being the oldest rock formations in England.

People don't generally have surnames in Iceland :P

stab in the dark at Australia??

And in Iceland don't they tend to have their Fathers name suffixed by Son (for a man) and dottier (for a woman) so for example I would be Christopher Malcolmson and my Daughter would be Isabel Christophersdottier?
