Indeed.I wonder why this general knowledge quiz periodically turns into a detailed maritime knowledge quiz....
Probably for the same reason it occasionally becomes a football, television, history, geography, etc. themed quiz.I wonder why this general knowledge quiz periodically turns into a detailed maritime knowledge quiz....
That's good enough, it was the Ferguson P99. Your turn (but be careful not to pose a motor racing question)...Sorry if I ramble but here is my train of thought. I remember in (1970ish) the Jensen FF motor car. I remember it stood for Ferguson Formula. This was by a famous inventor Harry Ferguson who also did great work with tractors but hugely on four wheel drive cars. So I think the answer could be a Ferguson design but I can not at this moment think of the actual model. Am I getting warm?
I will try. That's good enough, it was the Ferguson P99. Your turn (but be careful not to pose a motor racing question)...
Weber?I will try.
What is the SI unit of magnetic flux? (Note - NOT magnetic flux density )
Perfect. That did not last long.Weber?
It may not have lasted long but it needed a deep trawl of my memory, open floor (remember, no naval history)...Perfect. That did not last long.
I think it's rather a niche topic, not exactly to file under general knowledge.Probably for the same reason it occasionally becomes a football, television, history, geography, etc. themed quiz.

Maybe not surprising on a transport forum.
Ignorance is no defence?
Man on the Clapham omnibus?
None of them?
I will take a guess at 2
All of them?
1? (Habeas Corpus)
Sorry, no.
I will give you that as we seem to be down to a guessing game. The absolutely correct answer, as far as the 1215 version is concerned (which was the question), is four. However, two were combined by the ‘definitive’ 1297 version, so it was then three.
Weber?
Perfect. That did not last long.
