Oh yes - the majority of Americans are very friendly, approachable and easy to get along with. They're just horribly obtuse, and lack any modicum of either intelligence or common sense.
Americans have more common sense than people (or at least the government) in this country!!!
I drift between Yorkshire, Mackem, Cov and Brummie due to the combination of brought up in/studied in/lived in/worked in locations.
