How far in advance is it usually known what 90929 will be working? I`ve got Tuesday to Thursday off work next week & ideally it would be nice to ride with it using VTEC advance tickets rather than walk-on fares. I`m suspecting it`s a day-by-day thing.

5Y40 Kings X - Bounds Green via Ferme Park
90034 now at Bounds Green is an additional loco to permit traction training to continue while 90029 is in traffic.
Workings pretty much being agreed day-by-day.

Just spotted a photo on WNXX, of 90 029 at Kings Cross on Friday (three days ago) waiting to depart on the 15.08 to York 18/11/2016.

...What next? Realistically will they stick with two and get rid of them as soon as things settle down or is there a possibility they might take more to give the fitters more time with the 91s as more drivers are trained on them? I realise they only appear to be using one a day at the moment but could they feasibly use more than one or would if affect things too much?
Also is 034 still in DRS blue?

90034 should be the hire in loco for sometime as yesterday 90029 went to Tyne yard of all places!!! Behind 66188 can't imagine why though there is a 325 there so possibly to pick that up

Might see 036 back on VTEC at some point as that is also DRA fitted.
Wouldn't surprise me if 029 is just getting a tow back to Crewe using service trains to save a light engine move. Some of the routes the euro 66's used to use to get back to Toton were even stranger!

The blue one did 0945. It gradually lost time up to 7 late but only arrived at LKX 4 late no doubt due to padding at the end.
For some reason it came in on the 0845 arrival and was swapped over with the next service which was a normal cl91
The 0915 arrival became the 0915 departure.

Cheers Andy. I will have to wait until Thursday 8th Dec before I can go out for a "90" so hoping some-one can produce some gen.
Last time I went to Wake, bought a day return to leeds and waited and hoped, waited some more, before finally giving up and getting a refund, lol.....
