So, more than nothing, but far from all. Hmm, not massively satisfactory. I'm happy I'm not (no longer) the one waiting years and years for this!
Blame CAF for failing to allow the release of the TPE 350s.

The most obvious ‘mistake’ is the 1546 from London, always packed, I have queried it.
I'm actually shocked! 0854 and 1010 in the new timetable from lichfield to London are busy at the moment but will still be 4 carriages! 1546 is rammed and still 4, 1446 is well loaded (especially Friday) and still 4. This is most disappointing.
Hmm, but Trent Valley services terminating at Euston look like they turn around to form a Tring stopper or a Crewe via Northampton, Birmingham and Stoke.
Are Liverpool via Northampton & Birmingham planned as 4 cars?
Maybe far as Northampton. As the return terminates at Birmingham. Then will couple with ex Crewe to Euston services.
Wow the timetable seems very vulnerable in the sense that a problem in one place could cause chaos in another due to how interlinked all the services are.

Totally agree, i appreciate that there is a shortfall of 10 units but the current busy trains in the week are almost all the same size as before and quicker which could lead to even worse overcrowding at the Crewe end, granted some Stoke passengers will be lost/go via BrumI'm actually shocked! 0854 and 1010 in the new timetable from lichfield to London are busy at the moment but will still be 4 carriages! 1546 is rammed and still 4, 1446 is well loaded (especially Friday) and still 4. Im afraid the likelihood of Stone recieving more trains in the immediate future i almost zero. Until such a time as HS2 becomes operational there are almost certainly no paths to run to anywhere meaningful.Still not happy with the train situation at stone. Hopefully it can be quickly improved considering all other stations in the area have at least 2 trains an hour or more

Some of these workings almost look like its a case of putting an 8 car on a train just to say there are x amount of seats/ x amount of 8 cars per day/week.
Wouldn't make any difference, maximum length of most platforms across the West Mids is 8 car, and still some that cannot do that.If only there was enough for all services to be 12 carriages long. Making more efficient use of what is available by continuing services across Birmingham will surely help to some extent.

Between Birmingham and crewe, WMR?!
Of course it is. It’s been done before at New St, it’s why you now have services such as Virgin’s Euston to Scotland through trains. Is having services connected together a good idea, from what i heard, it sounds like the timetable is very concerning

That was just a happy coincidence of merging the two paths together, a dwell at Wolves like that wouldn't have been by design.Scotland - Birmingham - Euston services have more robustness built into the timetable, unlike the new LNR timetable
Is that not only in the southbound direction as northbound the dwell times at Wolverhampton are not that long at all. That was just a happy coincidence of merging the two paths together, a dwell at Wolves like that wouldn't have been by design.
Yes as the original poster stated the Scotland Birmingham service. Is that not only in the southbound direction as northbound the dwell times at Wolverhampton are not that long at all.
