Just a note to say that I took the advice from the people on here and it worked a treat !

Absolutely no problem getting through either Kings X or Moorgate.

Or perhaps mount a plaque, somewhere visible to all passengers and staff, to commemorate the thousands of passengers who have travelled to and from Moorgate station without being told that their London Terminals tickets were invalid?

I never had any problems doing this, so I guess the staff at King's Cross were fully aware of the easement and so you would be unlikely to encounter any problems. Now, I wouldn't be so sure if you had to meet FCC RPIs, but they don't work at Old Street or Moorate - the two stations you could go to via the Northern Line.

That isn't correct. I've often seen them at Moorgate, checking at the passages and escalator that don't go to the barriers.
