Or perhaps mount a plaque, somewhere visible to all passengers and staff, to commemorate the thousands of passengers who have travelled to and from Moorgate station without being told that their London Terminals tickets were invalid?
I never had any problems doing this, so I guess the staff at King's Cross were fully aware of the easement and so you would be unlikely to encounter any problems. Now, I wouldn't be so sure if you had to meet FCC RPIs, but they don't work at Old Street or Moorate - the two stations you could go to via the Northern Line.
