Strange observation, but i saw that centrals 324 has got a trident style ‘stopping’ sign. would this be taken out of a trident or is it just a lookalike?
so in short it’s a money saving thing then? They've likely taken what they can off the Tridents for other buses, so it probably has come from one.

depending on how long they were travelling for, that’s still a profit especially if it was all cash.213 sat on Marine entry ramp this mroning with the logo and Lothian lettering on instead of Lothian City. Could they be getting rid of Lothian city branding from the XLBs aswell?
Well that didn't last very long... Goodness me can't Lothian stop changing their mind ALL THE TIME? It does make a very varied fleet, which isn't too bad for bus enthusiasts.213 sat on Marine entry ramp this morning with the logo and Lothian lettering on instead of Lothian City. Ha Honestly though, in 2016 the thought of dual door coaches for West Lothian and 100-seat tri-axle dual door Alexander Dennis buses seemed about as likely as pink and green Citaro Gs.Next they'll be changing the colours on the livery to Lime Green and bright pink and demanding all new buses are 3 door Citaro G's!
On a slightly different subject, what is the likelihood of another Vintage Running Day alongside open doors day in September?
Thank you for saying Looking forward to it already!Lothian have confirmed on social media that there will be another vintage running day in September alongside doors open day.
Interesting development in the on going dispute between lothian and the unions now that 94% of workers clearly not happy wonder now if there will be a appitte for strike action!
If First does start its so called new service to Airport or south side, there will have a field day.
I had the delight of an X18 this evening, lets just say it got alot of passengers within Edinburgh area, and 16 going to WL, however all were cash fares. First had slightly more going to WL, I would be very surprised if there weren't all NON cash fares.
I don't even know if it's a so-called service Just idle speculation by people.
Lothian have done a great job with 112, it looks absolutely fantastic. Weird to think I travelled on it only last year and now it's in the vintage fleet.112 has been shown, lothian also say its part of he vintage fleet which means 664, 112 & 701 are staying
If they vote for a strike, appaerntly it wont affect the subsidiarys like ECB ,tours or Lothian Country
So no field day for first it would seem.Lothian Country, East Coast Buses, Edinburgh Bus Tours and Lothian Coaches are all different companies, it's the city drivers (Lothian Buses) who voted for the strike not the subsidiaries.
730 is getting debranded for sale, 115 is spares for the other Eclipses its been there for more or less a year nowLots of stuff at Seafield today. 112 664, 3 I think, ex London gemins with 2 doors, 6 coaches in Lothian Country from 920x group,
2 at least 19 plate motorcoaches and 1 11 plate motorcoach, some unidendifiable motor coaches, 730 and finally 115 with a few bits missing.
So no field day for first it would seem.
I also suspect they would run to either a Sunday service or even a Special service (ie Christmas day service style) but I guess it depends if there is strike action and if there is, what type it would be. In the chippy rag, it said 94% indicated support for action but does anyone know how many drivers are member of unite and thus how many indicated support for? Knowing how many would be willing to work would give a better idea on the type of service to expect if this does happen.Strictly speaking, if they were to go for the strike Lothian could drop service quality within Lothian Country, East Coast Buses, Edinburgh Bus Tours and Lothian Coaches to allow Lothian to run a reduced, core service with core routes such as Royal Infirmary, College/University Services, Shopping Centre Services 11, 16, 22, 26, 49, 25, 100 etc.
