So a few of the tour Gemini 3s are seemingly near Stoke on Trent in England, I'm assuming that this is for electric conversions?

Updated to daytime service...So the PVR on the 1 is 14, not 11.
Just to be clear, the PVR is the peak vehicle requirement. You never need more than the PVR, the PVR is the peak requirement
That's where the trackers were frozen manually, they are in the New Power facility in Bicester near Oxford. So a few of the tour Gemini 3s are seemingly near Stoke on Trent in England, I'm assuming that this is for electric conversions?
On the 3 ex Eve MMC’s, the Scottish voice provides the next stop announcements while an English one supplies a rather annoying ‘This is a [insert route number] Service to [insert destination]’ every time the doors open.On the 0940 120 ex-NB today (didn't notice the number) and amused to hear "bilingual" next stop announcements. First a posh English woman with occasional mispronunciation (e.g Tantallon, Tieninghame), five seconds later the Scottish one (correspondingly, Tantallon and Tinningham as per normal usage).
what a clunky mess, seriously it can't have been too difficult to at the least ensure the correct pronounciations. On the 3 ex Eve MMC’s, the Scottish voice provides the next stop announcements while an English one supplies a rather annoying ‘This is a [insert route number] Service to [insert destination]’ every time the doors open.
Much like we saw when the BZL’s debuted, it’s pronunciation of a few stops is awful. Whitekirk would be my favourite.
Now confirmed from internal sources (who wish to be unnamed) that service 5 at Marine will be converted to electric BZL operation shortly. It should have happened from the change, if the vehicles had been available. Full announcement and press release from Lothian coming soon.Since the last change there are now atleast a few Marine Sunday boards (service 5 as an example) which have dedicated time built in within the day for ‘Marine Charging’ - so that’s a sign of things to come.
I should imagine this may be in the next batch of 48. 701-750 are all for Central. Now confirmed from internal sources (who wish to be unnamed) that service 5 at Marine will be converted to electric BZL operation shortly. Maybe also a service increase where it's required in the network, such as West Lothian.Once they arrive I‘d expect ralid progress in the withdrawal of the remaining 08, 09 and 10 plates.
Probably a start on the 11s too - the question is whether native or ex-Londons go first.
Quite simple really. There is currently 16 x BZLs to come into service.
It will be interesting to see what they will see off as there are only 5 older B9TLs at Lothian Country plus the ex Londons.
As 09s have done ~250,000 less miles than the 10s.Why are ECB losing some 10 plates to be replaced with older 09 plates? Presumably a short-term measure?
I don't know of any records but if you search for enough websites, you should find one - my method of checking would be google image searching the plates.Lothian have had the registrations XIL1480-1485 for over 20 years and have used them on lots of buses and ancillary vehicles during that time.
Is there a record of which vehicles and when?
If there is ever a service increase in west Lothian the vehicle requirement wont rise by much, single figures anywayMaybe also a service increase where it's required in the network, such as West Lothian.
Im surprise this never happened with the timetable change at the start of April, goes to show how slow the process is with getting these BZLs in serviceQuite simple really.
4 Gemini3’s from Central to Livingston. This will replace the last 4 buses intended to go there (850, 934-936). 843 already is out of use and doesn’t count towards the total.
Longstone will need another 9 gains to see off 501-509. This should be 672-680. So expect 9 buses to go from Central to Marine to backfill this.
never knew 944 was actually done already. Take it it must be knackered then?498 and 500 are being prepped for ECB. Alongside 501-509 this totals 11 of the 13 buses required to replace 937-950 (944 as stated before is already finished). The last two buses should be 934 and 935 freed up from Livingston. What happens with 936 at the moment remains a mystery.
I would imagine that the PSV Circle has full details recorded of these vehicles but you would have to join that Society to find out.Lothian have had the registrations XIL1480-1485 for over 20 years and have used them on lots of buses and ancillary vehicles during that time.

191/2 have 34 and 193 has 30 according to BLOTW, I can't link the page directly as they use URL masking however if you go into search and use the query in bold below in the owner field, it will return them towards the bottom of the list. How many seats do 191-193 (Former EVE 200 MMC's) accommodate?
Had a break down after a few underlying issues. These were solved and they never bothered to return it to service despite it being fit as there's a good number of vehicles at ECB.never knew 944 was actually done already. Take it it must be knackered then?
Yes it was. Believe it’s the second collision this week after recently repainted 4 was shunted at the rear on Wednesday in Leith Links. Was it 675 that crashed last night. Looks like quite a bad one
Been quite a few accidents recentlyYes it was. Believe it’s the second collision this week after recently repainted 4 was shunted at the rear on Wednesday in Leith Links.
That means that 4, 1045, 587 and now 675 are out at least, is there anymore?Been quite a few accidents recently
