Well, my ending mileage for 2009CE is 7,401mi 21ch...A bit on the crap side IMO, given that figure includes five days intense travel around the realm on a seven day ALR!

Fingers crossed though; If I can afford an ALR this year, I might be able to hit the 10,000 mile in a week target that I was originally planning last year. Also, I'm thinking of having a go at one or two AP bash days along the WCML to get my Pendo mileage/coverage up a little bit, too. 8)

By the by, a question to any RailMiles users amongst us: I've seen this system on several people's sites and it looks quite good, but there are a few things that confuse me a bit:
  • Is it a software package that ye install on a web server, or is it an online service? Different RailMiles profiles seem to be hosted on varying domains across the web.
  • What's the annual subscription fee for the system, and does it represent any half-decent value for money?
  • Finally; Why has the RailMiles website offered no in-depth information on the thing for quite some time, and why are they still not publishing subscription details or making subscriptions available even now - Six months after I first visited the site?

Online service but can run off your domain if you wish. Prices are currently £5 for 1 year and £8.50 for 2 years - these include Premium Service which gives you added features.
Sales have now re-opened, to buy RailMiles, contact tomDOTcairnsATmacDOTcom

I actually have an update of sorts! :o

Not including the mini-tour of The Mersey Mancunian as I don't have the relevant figures with me sadly (if anyone does, please let me know!), but have finally sorted January out now with some accurate figures (thanks to Mr. Cairns' new routing engine). So for now, please update my figure to 2,037.81 miles.

Slowly working on the rest but a year's worth of figures (thought it was 9 months, but my moves book was out of date) to go through mileage engines, Notepad and various other books/whatever takes a long time. January took me over an hour! :o

Seeing as there's no 2010CE thread yet (Don't knock me over it...I tried! :|) I'll have to dump this here insted...

I've just posted two links in another topic on the forum - Therefore, I can claim my 2010CE mileage to have got off to a great start with One chain...:razz:<D

Actually, i have a very small update to mine that I'd completely forgotten about, taking it up to 1054 miles.
I'm hoping no-one minds me doing so this time, but it is about high time we had an update on 2009CE, isn't it? 8)
