Just seen it arrive at Birmingham New Street on the 1258 Euston - New Street with an unknown Scotrail liveried 90 on the front. First time I've seen it here in ages.

Anyone know if it's just a one off or is it back on the Euston - Birmingham diagrams again on a daily basis?

The Class90ElectricLocoGroup are reporting that it was stood down after working the first two services due to an electrical problem with the Buffet car. :(

I seen this train today working the 1303 London Euston-Birmingham New St.

I take it this is just a one-off and it's usually a Pendelino on this Saturday service?

Booked to arrive into Crewe at 2101 but usually gets there 5 minutes or so before due to padding. It will then wait for 1S06 which is due past at 2059 and then will leave whenever it gets the signal.

I can vouch for that; saw it leaving New Street this morning on the 08:50 whilst on the way to work, 90024 at the rear. Nice to see a proper train on the WCML :)

Nothing says proper train like something that can't keep timings :).

Indeed! Well if it wasn't for those darn Pendolinos dashing about everywhere at 125mph, increasing passenger numbers and mucking up everyone's nostalgia, :D , then it would be fine! ;)

I know, what idiot thought that bringing faster, reliable and more frequent trains was a good idea.:lol:
