I would have thought you were an Essex lad, what with the Rochford postcode you've chosen as your username.
And likewise I would have thought that Kernowfem was Cornish.
Gosh, you do know your postcodes! I have wondered the same thing myself before now (before realising the "SS" relating to Super Sonic), although calling myself "SS3" was never in the question! You can expect a test later tonight. Example question for you: Where is E6?
Hasn't she admitted as much before now? I remember when my father and I were in Polperro in '06, and a coach pulled up saying "Kernow, nr England"!![]()
I believe SHE has mentioned it on here before, yes![]()
i like to think of myself as yornish....![]()
Sorry
Lesson Two in "How to push away a girl" (Lesson One bring to quite literally push her).
SS3 is the SRY end of Southend; I don't see why it's considered Southend-on-Sea when Westcliff (SS0) and Leigh (SS9) have their own though!
BS39 is an outlying Bristol district around Paulton near Radstock
CM12 is Billericay
TW14 is Feltham
SN1 is Swindon (natch)
PR8 is Southport
Question for 4SRKT then:
What is Britain's largest town (including suburbs as separate towns) to not have its on unique code (i.e. Southend has SS)? I do know this.
How about FK9?
I was surprised to see just how far the Birmingham postcode extends to Sandwell (B61*), Tamworth (B80*) and Solihull (B90*) despite many of the outer postcodes not coming under Birmingham City Council's authority.
* = numbers are actually guesses but the B is accurate last time I checked (Nov 2010, we used postcodes to determine which office dealt with each person. It was a good day when you could transfer out a particularly difficult case)
Gu9?
So24?
Wouldn't Blackpool beat 'Boro on that ruling?
It's a common assumption that postcode areas have something to do with local authorities. In fact they don't as they are derived from the logistics arrangments of Royal Mail and nothing else. Also the B postcode is correctly called the 'B postcode area'. 'Birmingham' postcodes are only B1-B48. The B area has the largest number of districts in the country, and goes up to B98 (Redditch), and extends not only into other Metropolitan Districts of the West Midlands, but into Staffordshire (Tamworth), Worcestershire (Bromsgrove, Redditch) and Warwickshire (Alcester).
Where's my "flirting friend" when you need her...?
Anyone got any more Sleeper stories, or advice for this poor loser...?
EDIT: Come on Matt! Even I know what the MHC is!
Sorry

As opposed to "Corkish"?![]()
I'm 15... I'm still, well, naive and pick up most innuendo from stuff I watch on Family Guy... don't get half of the stuff on here...16 next week though.
And we all know what becomes legal at 16!
Of course I meant joining the army. What were you thinking of?
Smoking fags?
Buying liqueur chocolates, surely?

Is that not 18 now? I speak as someone who has sold cigarettes.
