Also booked at 1126 out and 1240 back at Woodburn Junction (nearest timing point to Sheff Vic), but on previous experience of workings up to Deepcar, the timings on the branch are approximate, or possibly wildly inaccurate.

Successful day out for once, good weather, train on-time, tasty pasty at Gregg's Maltby and sun shone on SYJR for once with Blood n Custard coaches, nice!!
Train totally full and packed out bizarrely which begs the question, why so many people want to travel to Hull? No disrespect to our citizens of Hull but why would so many people want to go there? From Pott Bar, Stevenage & P'bro of all places?
Could it be the chance to bash some obscure Yorkshire branch lines? Seems to have a hit on a winner there folks!! Nice clag at Maltby thank you driver!!

Any reason why the generator coach was needed ?
I thought the whole idea of having a 67 at one end was so they could have an extra passenger carrying coach.
