I had emailed. They are having technical issues, no time frame for a fix.Anyone else having issues with their profile, mine has just disappeared. Anyone else in the same boat.
I emailed several days ago and received a similar reply.I applied back in January for Dundee and not heard a thing since. Emailed recruitment today and was told that they applications for this vacancy are still to be considered.
I very much think thats not true and I am being fobbed off but, l live in hope
What area did you apply for?I emailed several days ago and received a similar reply.
Did the advert not say at the time not to worry if you didn't hear for ages and that the recruitment would take all year. I didn't get round to applying for this one but I'm sure that's what the job advert saidI applied back in January for Dundee and not heard a thing since. Emailed recruitment today and was told that they applications for this vacancy are still to be considered.

It wasn’t a set area, it was basically Scotland recruitment drive and I had to include my nearest depots ect. What area did you apply for?
I seem to remember around Feb/March time people getting interviews/assesments for areas across the west but don't remember to many people saying about this way.
Good luckSo received an email from Scotrail recruitment and have an assessment centre on for trainee driver post on 20th September. Was very pleasantly surprised by this.

Just wonder what the general consensus is for what to wear to assessment centre.
Info says that it's down to preference whether business or casual as it's important to feel comfortable.
Have spoken to couple people (on here and away from here) and bit of a mixed response.
Just conscious of importance of making good impression.

I passed. I was there at 10am and got the email at 4pm same day although they did say it can take a day or two to get the email out. And it just said ‘we will be in touch shortly to inform you of the next stage of the recruitment process’ I haven’t heard anything about a date for DMI not sure if they’re doing internal candidates first. Thanks
How did you get on?

I arranged this through a driver I knew at my local depot. I would try and get a contact email or number for the DTM’s at your depot and make an arrangement to attend, if you turn up without arrangement I would be prepared to be told they are busy but can make an appointment for you. It’s definitely beneficial speaking to themSat my first assessments last week and passed so awaiting date for next stage. On my email it encourages me to go to local depots and ask questions etc. Should this be arranged or just turn up on my own accord? Thanks
Yeah currently arranging a depot visit through a driver I know. Got my email on Monday for DMI in 2 weeksI arranged this through a driver I knew at my local depot. Hopefully your interview went well. Can you remember what sort of questions they asked you?Good luck, I had mine last week, formal but friendly and got the result the next day
If you read through all 146 pages of this thread most of the questions, if not similar ones can be found. Research the company, visit a depot and know that safety and adherence to rules are paramountHopefully your interview went well. Can you remember what sort of questions they asked you?
