Hi everyone, I have my first interview tomorrow, just looking for any advice or pointers. I have spoken with my uncle who is a driver in Dundee, done lots of research on the company just wondering if there’s anything specific to look out for? Thanks.

Just go down and show face. That’s what I done at Glasgow central and managed to speak to a DTM.

If it's an consolation I dont think I ever got told officially I passed the MMI. Weeks and weeks later I just got told I was going for a medical. I think no news is probably good news.

Yeah, I got an email with an assessment date for next week.

Same boat 2 weeks tomorrow and nothing as of yet- sent an email last week as I actually forgot to ask when we would hear, as expected no reply.

I got an email inviting me for assessments on the 21st jan. Got an email the following day saying I’d passed and they would be in touch about the next stage of the process.
Same situation for myself, same location.

Hi mate. What kind of questions were you asked in the dmi if you don't mind me asking? Was it more personal questions or scotrail related? Got mine tomorrow
A bit of both, do some research on scotrail on core values and what they want to achieve. What characteristics they are looking for and how you link them into your daily life. Think of what questions are typically asked on an interview. Why would you like to be a driver etc. Mines didn’t feel very intense was quite relaxed.

Has anyone on here been unsuccessful in any of the 3 computer assessments and resat them once their 6 months period was up? Just looking for any information regarding whether I would have to sit all 3 or just the 1 I was unsuccessful in? Thanks
I just had to resit the one I failed
Just had my and exact same as you buddy. Had loads of knowledge on the company and routes ect, so many hours research and it was completely different, I had a nightmare to be honest.

i felt the exact same as soon as I came out it and have for the past week, I got an email for second assessment yesterday though so it might not be as bad as you think! I managed to answer all the questions in some form and felt like I answered the scenario questions quite well so fingers crossed for you
Ah brilliant, well done and good luck in the next stage ye I answered all the questions, think 2 of them I was pretty poor on though but it’s done now.

I thought it would be similiar numbers to the first assessment, but then maybe not if it’s computer tests. Either way I’m glad the end is near! Nearly a year since I applied. Good luck when it comes mate

Speaking to a few friends who have been through the process last couple of years and they said that these assessments are as bad as the other ones. So fingers crossed a bit revision next few days and can get through them. I had first assessments 27th (ish) November then dmi last tuesday
