Looking at the Southern website the December timetable doesn't seem to affect the 313s in any way

I can confirm that three Class 313 fleet
diagrams will be removed from December when the timetable changes. In their place
we’ll introduce three Class 377s that can be released from elsewhere in the fleet.

Is there any further news on if/when some 377/5s will return from Southeastern, as previously expected when 313s are fully withdrawn?

313216 and 313220 are the ones at Selhurst. 216 was on the wheel lathe last night, 220 was languishing on what i believe is called '13 road'.

220 is on 19 road just to the right of the Repair Shop.
19rd is a 3 car only road.

This will be when the 707s are released from SWR by new 701s. At the moment it is undated but it is hoped with driver training on 701s starting it’ll happen within the first half of 2023.

Indeed, Southern are no longer on the market for extra stock is the vibe from the ROSCOs.

An April withdrawal date would tie in with next years Annual Business Plan which is expected to so cuts for most TOCs so that sits neatly with removing the cl313 fleet through efficiencies elsewhere to cascade other stock internally.

I was on the 22.44 to Brighton from Portsmouth last night. Seemed a big ask for the 313 to get to Brighton let alone next April. Locals audibly groan now when they approach the platform, cant go soon enough

I'd be happy if a 313 turned up

You're in the minority I promise you, and I don't think I'm unreasonable in assuming you wouldn't think that if you weren't A) a rail enthusiast (although even many of them hate 313s) and B) a "pep fan."

PEP tends to refer to 313/314/315/507/508, although one member has a signature which strangely insists these classes are NOT PEPs, although if those trains aren't then I'm not sure what are. Might be @prod_pep from memory. :)
The "pep" is a prototype and the 313 was built of of it.. I know it's not a pep it's just a nickname
