12072/12075 still knackered
12077 engine flexed on road causing belts to snap and smashed radiator fan currently VOR
12065 Altenator brackets snapped VOR
12064 Low power VOR
20116/20838 are off the road since Monday

They seem like there going to be nothing but trouble just like the old designlines ! Hybrids don't like Newcastle.
ADL have been on the case with the hybrids ! Apparently there recurring problems were that the generator at times wasnt charging the batterys which resulted in power loss & eventually cutting the power so we should see less problems in the comming weeks as these are still new machines after all there was always going to be problems like all modern technology !
The image of the bus extinguished back at the depot isn't too bad considering what it looked burning!

Just digressing a little, when I worked at the old Byker Depot it was always interesting to see the drivers and depot office staff always refer to these numbers by their roster names. i.e 1 was Cochrane, 12 was Milvain, 18 was Walker Circle, 22 was Wallsend, 39/40 was Brighton, 62.63 was Killie (Killingworth) and X63 was Killie express. Can't remember what the 38s were (Benton??).1,12,15/15A,18,22,38,39/40,62/63(only 7 busses from Walakergate),X63 all ran by Walkergate
