Haslemere now being done

Havant is being treated again a recognition the blue tape was a failure!

Godalming also being done. Previously it was in the bizarre trial SWT/Network Rail livery where doors were painted in a Burgundy colour but everything else was grey

St Denys is now being fully repainted

The grey paint on the station lighting posts is already peeling off at numerous locations!

It's certainly no worse than the later SWR scheme of everything grey with maroon building doors - a particularly hideous combination.

Agreed, the SWR colour scheme would be rather drab compared to SWT's. Grey is a straightforward colour to paint everywhere then quickly move on to the next station, sadly contractors don't tend to take pride & focus on their work.

It is a real shame the other SWR primary colour - cyan (used in their squared logo & thin strips on train doors) doesn't get used, it could have broken apart the sea of endless grey!
