We walk the 2 minutes (446 feet) to Hyde Market Place (Stop CC) and get the 21:15 Stagecoach Manchester service 330 to Manchester Airport (The Station), arriving at 21:59 Tuesday evening.

We then board the 2210 Stagecoach Manchester service 103 to Sharston (Altrincham Road), arriving there at 2238 on Tuesday evening.

We then get the 23:04 Stagecoach Manchester 11A to Altrincham Interchange (Stand B), arriving at 23:20 Tuesday evening.

Changing transport modes, we then board the 2334 Metrolink service to St Peter's Square, arriving there at 2359 on Tuesday evening.

We walk to Art Gallery (Stop SD) and get the 00:10 First Greater Manchester service Vantage V1 to Leigh Bus Station (Stand A), arriving at 00:53 Wednesday morning.

Taking advantage of the night travel relaxation rule, we next board the 0600 Stagecoach Manchester service 600 to Golborne (opposite the Royal Hotel) that arrives there at 0615 on Thursday morning.

We walk to School Street and get the 06:28 Arriva North West service 360 to Newton-le-Willows Station (Stop C), arriving at 06:33 Wednesday morning.

We enter the railway station and board the 0712 Arriva Trains Wales service to Helsby that arrives there at 0740 on Thursday morning.

We then get the 07:49 Arriva Trains Wales service 1H82 to Warrington Bank Quay, arriving at 08:08 Wednesday morning

We then take the 08:27 Virgin Trains service 1S39 to Carlisle, arriving at 0959 on Wednesday morning

We then get the 10:25 Northern service 2N20 to Prudhoe, arriving at 11:31 Wednesday morning.

We then get the 12:41 Crosscountry service 1V60 to Totnes, arriving at 19:16 Wednesday evening.

We wait until morning and get the 05:45 Metrobus service 162 to Beckenham Junction Station (Stop A), arriving at 06:08 Thursday morning.

Ignoring the attractions of the tramway, we enter the heavy rail part of the station on board the 0633 Southeastern service to Orpington that arrives there at 0650 on Thursday morning.

I wonder if we shall see that famous Daily Telegraph reader noted for his "strong letters to the Editor"....."Offended of Orpington"

We exit the station and board the 08:32 Stagecoach South East 349 bus from Stop 'E'. We alight at Hawkhurst (Victoria Hall, Stop 'A') arriving 09:27 on Thursday.

We then board the 0653 Southeastern service 1H08 to Hastings, arriving there at 0818 on Thursday morning.

That train left only THREE minutes after the arrival of the previous train service at 0650 and at Orpington, the official minimum connection time is said to be FOUR minutes.

Gameplay

The Aim of the game is to travel around the country using public transport in a pseudo-realistic fashion. To play, you must depart from the station or stop where the previous post arrived using a permitted timetabled public transport service. Having arrived at the destination, the minimum connection time for the station or stop must be allowed for. Where this is not published, a minimum interchange time is considered to be five minutes.
