We then board the 1540 Shiel Buses service 500 to Fort William (Bus Station), arriving there at 1711 on Thursday afternoon.
Erm...we're on Barra at Aird Mhòr ;)

I though all the amphibious yellow buses had been withdrawn, I didn't realise that they are now operating in the highlands ;)
That's Scottish Citylink, Shiel are silver. ;)

I don't think there's any more buses now, so the following morning we board the 0700 CalMac ferry service 20A to Mallaig (Ferry Terminal), arriving there at 1030 on Friday morning.

No more buses for the day (this is why I hate this part of the country; services are too infrequent!), so the following morning from the nearby pier we board the 1035 Stagecoach North Scotland service 52 to Broadford (Post Office), arriving there at 1100 on Saturday morning.

We decide to film DanTrainMan185's infuriated reaction to discovering that there just happen to be no buses south or east of Broadford in the next two hours and five minutes - but, before we can do that, another bus arrives, and so we board the 11:20 (our phone took a long time to turn on) Scottish Citylink bus & coach service to Sconser (Ferry), arriving there at 11:40 on Saturday morning.

No need to hate this part of the journey! At least, infrequent services at least mean that the service is simpler. ;)

And the landscape is beautiful and the scenic views are magnificent. There's a reason why we like to keep coming back up here - to explore these interesting-sounding places with names that wrap around the tongue...

Raasay is the third new island we've done today! The other two are Vatersay and Rùm.

Let's head back to Skye. From the Raasay jetty, we board the 14:30 Caledonian MacBrayne ferry service on the MV Hallaig to Skye - Sconser Ferry Pier, where we arrive at 14:55 on Saturday afternoon.

Here, we chose to leave the islands behind, and board the 15:42 Scottish Citylink service 916 to Crianlarich, at Public Toilets, arriving at 20:38 Saturday evening (which would have connected with the sleeper, but it's Saturday, so we're safe in Scotland for now!).

I've seen pictures and it's beautiful; I just panic when I can't place my next move

That's it for the day, so the following morning we board the 0830 Scottish Citylink service 914 to Glasgow (Cecil Street), arriving there at 1001 on Sunday morning.
