397002 has been/is being delivered to Crewe LNWR today from Anglesey Aluminium Sidings, after shipping up from Velim to Holyhead.
What does accepted mean?
397001 will have been the unit at Warrington and 397003 is currently paired up with 397004 at Crewe. TPE are hopefully starting driver training with 397006 this week but i have no idea about routes and times at the minute. On a trip down the WCML on Friday 23rd there was a 397 set at Warrington without any numbers and a further one at Crewe next to 004. Any ideas on which was which? Is the Crewe one 002?
397008 moved to Polmadie after being handed over to TPE and 397001 should do the same next week397003 and 397004 have been out again together this week while a 397 moved to Polmadie from Longsight this morning.
No idea about the 37 at Warrington but the 37 at Crewe was making its way to Leicester having moved 397002 from Arriva Crewe to MID on FridayThere was a ROG Class 37 and translator/barrier vehicles waiting to depart South from Basford Hall at Crewe around 1330 today (Sat), were these going to Portbury docks for a new 397 delivery, does anybody know?
Also a ROG Class 37 stabled at Warrington Bank Quay, down bay, not seen one there before.

The ROG 37 at Warrington is in connection with 769 testing. It's a thunderbird.
I think 397007 is at Portbury with a move planned to MID for Friday. Some issues stopping driver have been resolved and that should start next week based out of Preston.Ok thankyou both, so no new arrivals just yet, and a Thunderbird for Flex.
397007 currently being delivered on 5Q32; currently sat at Eckington Loop. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O39345/2019/09/12/advancedI think 397007 is at Portbury with a move planned to MID for Friday. Will the Class 397s be up and running and in passenger service before the Class 350s need to go by the end of November to West Midland or has all that changed.
Ok thanks. Not sure about the Manchester Airport-Glasgow/Edinburgh, but the Liverpool-Glasgow were going to be 185 operated before the 397s took over, so could there be a short return to 185s perhaps?

It can't be that simple? I don't imagine that any passenger would accept that a class 350 and a class 185 are equivalent. The 350s are on a sub lease from WMR who can have them for the December timetable change if they decide. TPE only have 9 x 350s left therefore they should have sufficient 185s to replace them. They should be able to get 9 units new units into service by December (between the three fleets).

Problem I heard was that the points in Eckington Loop failed.Currently at Bromsgrove, 93 late.

No great loss if it's for a short period, but going from 4 to 3-cars is going to be rather crowded at times.
They [350/4] were ordered by London Midland and subleased to TPE, this arrangement ran past the end of the franchise and they where ring fenced for WMR bidders as existing franchise rolling stock.
397008 moved to Polmadie after being handed over to TPE and 397001 should do the same next week
Not this nonsense again. They were ordered for TPE and until WMT agreed a lease with the ROSCO there was no connection whatsoever between them and any Midlands franchise.
Really? The average passenger wouldn't know the difference between a Pacer and a Sprinter, so I doubt they'd notice the quite subtle (to the uninitiated) differences between two trains in the same colour scheme! It can't be that simple? The difference is far from subtle, 185s are very space-inefficient with capacity, seating or otherwise. Combine that with the shorter length and it will certainly be obvious when they can't get a seat, maybe even not be able to board the service at all...Really? Has training begun out of Polmadie?
