These are the factory default seats. They are supposed to be replacing them with a different seat design.

As a member of TPE staff I have been demonstrated a different style of seat in our training centre in Huddersfield that i have been advised are supposed to be the seats that will eventually be fitted
...
Now, if that had changed or if you know something internally that is different to that myself or any of my front line colleagues have been told then fair enough, and that wouldn't surprise me. But my information is company internal, not enthusiast guesstimating.
Correct for Nova 2 and 3. These are the seats for Nova 1. They're different. No 'enthusiast guesstimating' here.
I'm confused...which sets are getting different seats, and are they actually different seats or just the same Fainsa seat with a different cover on it?
To clarify, just different fabric/leather design for the cover. Cl 802 doesn't have the leather bits on the Standard seats and the First Class are as pictured.
Correct on the sample seats being for Nova 2 and 3. The seats pictured are the seats for Nova 1. They're different. No 'enthusiast guesstimating' here.
EDIT: for clarity
that means they cannnot have the cream headrests
That being the case, why do the 185, 397 and Mk5 fleets have them?

Looks are not everything.
Let's hope that the passengers like the interior and comfort of these "brilliant" looking sets, but don't be shocked if all is not too there liking!!
No more or less to their liking than the Mk5s or 397s - the seats and interior scheme are basically the same in all the new TPE units.
Indeed, I think the 397 and 80x are to have better window alignment than the Mk5.
