That 0S00 is odd. I've noticed that shunts around Norwich often just get described as their destination (PL-5), also hauled sets staying in the station tend to be marked as STBL.

Might appear odd in the Norwich area but quite common in other places. We also used 0S01, 0S02, 0N00, 0N01 and 0R01/2/3 or 4 depending on what action was required by the neighbouring box with regard to ad-hoc and shunt moves, saved a lot of phone calls

Also they only involve one signal box, the place I'm describing (Wembley) involves two and several different slots.

I once put WHOA into the berth as a reminder not to send trains on a particular route, closed for engineering work. I had to explain to the signaller in the neighbouring PSB what it meant.
