Might appear odd in the Norwich area but quite common in other places. We also used 0S01, 0S02, 0N00, 0N01 and 0R01/2/3 or 4 depending on what action was required by the neighbouring box with regard to ad-hoc and shunt moves, saved a lot of phone callsThat 0S00 is odd. I've noticed that shunts around Norwich often just get described as their destination (PL-5), also hauled sets staying in the station tend to be marked as STBL.

Also they only involve one signal box, the place I'm describing (Wembley) involves two and several different slots. In fairness station shunts within the limits at Norwich are generally very simple. Out, behind one of three dods, change ends, back in. Not too much extra info is needed.
Haha! Carp and Tuna... I wonder why that is?Sheffield currently has a few four letter fish working their way around the station area!
