Don't know about pension contributions but I know it's a final salary pension. Pay is as follows:
Trainee - £24,500
After 12 months - £38,500
After 24 months - £43,500
After 36 months - £48,500

Passed my medical yesterday everyone. Obviously subject to a drugs test which I should obviously pass.

They are the old pay scales...

The 2016 pay scales are

£26k trainee
£37k newly qualified driver
£50k fully qualified following probation period

Trainee = £25,600 approx. for the first 36 weeks
Probationary Driver = £37,585 for 12 months

Congrats Kingy, See you at 102 on the 5th Sep!! Good times.

Can't wait! I rang them today as I did not get my confirmation by email. They said contracts are just been double checked and then they will be sent out along with the email. :D

I take it that is the same for you?

Hi Ruudboy,

I've just called and I've passed the drugs test and there are courses in October with spaces but we're in the pipeline and there are still 2014 applicants to be allocated so they can't confirm anything.

Waiting game!

Dan.

Congrats kingscott. As a matter of interest what number have people been phoning?

Scrap that. Just found it earlier in this great. Just phoned and confirmed that I've passed the medical and drugs test. Just waiting for course now.

Had it confirmed yesterday that my drug came back clean as expected. No start date yet. I'm going for Worcester, so maybe not as much need for drivers on courses as there is for Birmingham depots.
So it's just a waiting game now..

Meanwhile at Worcester haven't heard anything in months about the next stage :(

What stage you at?
