I'm sure they said everyone should hear back by the end of next week if they've got through to the tests (successful or not).

I was on London 17th afternoon session and I heard yesterday that I'm through

Well congratulations to you. All the best in the remaining process. I think it must be bad news for myself then. Gotta wait for that dreaded "thank you very much but no thank you" email.

Not necessarily, they may just have emailed out if you are successful or not based on the order they marked everybody

I attended the London group assessments on 17th and got the email yesterday that I've been successful. I didn't feel that I did that great in the 3 exercises but guess I must have said and one things they were looking for. I've passed the tests with another TOC so hopefully won't have to do them again. Congrats to all those who have passed and for those who didn't try not to be too disheartened and try again. I've been trying for 2 years and been knocked by numerous times so stay positive!

Congrats all

Has anyone been given a date for psychometrics yet? I was at edinburgh assessment day. The form we filled in with potential dates was clearly way out!

Cheers

Congrats on getting though, you have done really well. You must have attended the same day as me in Newcastle and I'm yet to hear anything. Don't think that bodes well for me. !!!
I take it that the job is yours now assuming you pass pyscometrics?

I was in the morning session and it's all quiet here. Standards were very high so I just have to hope that I done enough. Good luck to everyone still waiting and congrats to those people who have already had good news.

I know the bulk of this convo has been between people who have been to the initial stages.

Has anyone had a rejection email from the CV & Covering letter stage?
I have not heard a peep from virgin since i first applied. should i take the hint?
Has anyone got HR's number? if so could you send it to me, private message or otherwise.

Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately if you haven't heard by now I would assume its bad news as all assessment days have been filled and the closing date closed a long time ago.You could always contact Azuma on the original email address that you applied to.
Good luck

The worst is all the spam emails you get with the heading "congratulations", then you read the sender and it's spam!

Guys I would stop trying to guess what's going on. I was at an assessment day mid December and I've not heard and other have heard both successful and not. They are still going through the process i believe the last assessment day altogether was this week.

You think everybody would apply if it was minimum wage? Everybody wants a good salary with a stable job.

THe OP is correct in what he said to you. Yes, everybody likes the salary and conditions that goes with driving, but you've got to want the day to day reality of the job too. Monotony, isolation, getting out of bed at 0300. It's no good getting the job, passing the training, then throwing it all away a year down the line, as you've started to take shortcuts.

Agreed.

It happened in LU years ago when they did external recruitment for full time T/op's. Loads of people jumped at the money, jacked it in a few months after passing out due to the reality of the job.

I just got an email a couple of minutes ago informing me I've got through to the psychometric tests (not confirmed a date yet). I attended on Tuesday 24th Jan. Chuffed/nervous/excited is an understatement haha :D

Fair play ! Psychometrics aren't difficult, just do the practice tests and you will be fine.

I attended last Tuesday afternoon. To be honest, people have already been contacted from that day so I'm assuming they are filling the gaps and then email everyone else with one generic email. So I think I'm part of that email.
People say that we should be proud to get this far but unless I get the job I'm not proud. Lol. Everyone wanted that 57k !!

Well if you wanted £57K then you will want the £60K that they will be on come March pay deal haha...

Just had an email saying I'm thought to physcometrics. Soooo happy right now.
Good luck to those still waiting.
I've already completed pyscometrics for my current job so wonder if I'll have to do them again.
