I love all of them, especially:

Mike Oldfield's In Dulce Jubilo
Shakin' Stevens' Merry Christmas Everybody
Another vote for the Pogues, especially now I've got a vinyl copy

and a vote for Ricky Tomlinson's Christmas My Arse.

The late great Kirstie MacColl and The Pogues for me.

Another +1 for this one, although I don't think it was intended as a Christmas song, was it?

i prefer it, but as I'm a part time DJ never hear it as punters always want Poags!personally Driving home for Xmas and good old shakin stevens, merry Xmas Everyone. Good thread Mat

Is there anything you don't do? :P

Stafford Railway Station have just posted about things they have going on, on Facebook.

Various things to raise money for charity - seems like as usual, they are getting into the spirit of things :)

Ooh... a vinyl collector are you? That's an expensive habit but I'm sure an enjoyable one!

Not particularly expensive -- can pick up 2nd hand singles for around 50p per disc in my local market; albums for a few quid. Came back from the IoW (yes, we rode the Island Line and the Steam Railway) with a bagful of vinyl from an excellent shop in Shanklin called Groovy Records on Cross St.

No one gone for Getting Ready for Christmas Day by Paul Simon yet. Cracking song, came out last year in advance of the So Beautiful or So What album.

thanks mate, a new one to me which I shall enjoy playing as I DJ another works Xmas doo later. Wil be a get my own back time after having had to suffer all of Sir Clif's Xmas offerings which have been specially requested as the boss of the company is a fan. Now I can handle a bit of misulto and wine but in small doses only!

Was Killing in the Name played? <D

I never watched it that through, got bored when it got to all the x factor crap. Did spot a very young Jeremy clarkson in my blobbys music video!

Have been scrolling through looking to see if anyone posted that.

My other favourite is Malcolm Mclaren Presents Alison Limerick in "Magic's Back", the theme track from the film of the same name.

But when it comes to Winterval, nothing makes me feel more festive than the theme to and the series "The Box of Delights".
