It is yes. The other being 43300.Is that one of the LNER power cars that received damage?

Yes. 43313 was the power car damaged when it was hit by an 08 at Bounds Green. Is that one of the LNER power cars that received damage?

Thank you both.Yes. 43313 was the power car damaged when it was hit by an 08 at Bounds Green.
It's certainly repairable (replacement cab needed), just not worth doing with so many power cars stored.
If it leaves, yes.A path has appeared on RTT for tomorrow from Eastleigh to Laira (listed below), assuming that it runs, would it be wise to assume that 43208 and 43239 will be heading for their new home?

Does the lack of RTT reports in the Southampton area suggest it (they?) ran via Chandlers Ford?On its way
Correct - and via Trowbridge/Bath/Bristol as opposed to the plan of reversing at Westbury and running via Castle Cary.Does the lack of RTT reports in the Southampton area suggest it (they?) ran via Chandlers Ford?
Thanks. Looked highly likely given the relative timings that were shown on RTT.Correct - and via Trowbridge/Bath/Bristol as opposed to the plan of reversing at Westbury and running via Castle Cary.
I guess that was 208 then having teething troubles? No electric train supply from the powercar to the train.
Cheers. Shame as its still always good to see a HST out and about.Electrical fault.
Not the first time over the past few weeks it's had electrical issues either - on the Eastleigh Laira run it decided it didn't want to provide power.Electrical fault.
Correct. Set failure.1M49 a voyager today. No sign of 43208 again today?
Surely they have got more than one set ready and operational at Laira, as there are only 2 XC HST’s out on other services apart from the Birmingham circular 1M49/1V61? That surely leaves them with 3 rakes of coaches and now 8 power cars to choose from (subject to maintenance)?Correct. Set failure.
It's not just a case of pick a random set and send it on it's way. At least One will be in for Maintenance. One broken and there could be any number of reasons why the other set is unavailable.Surely they have got more than one set ready and operational at Laira, as there are only 2 XC HST’s out on other services apart from the Birmingham circular 1M49/1V61? Yes they haveHave they both entered service?
Nope, they worked 1V44, now 1S51.Both 43208 and 43239 worked 1V50 this morning.
