Do Crewe based LM guards get as far as EUS on their Trent Valley Line services? Or do they only take them as far as MKC before a crew change?

Assuming it would be a MKC or EUS based guard that would take the service the rest of the way to EUS. I've heard Crewe guards don't do South of MKC and wondered why this is?

The return journey I made from Euston to Stafford the guard changed at Northampton both ways. It was a while ago though.

Unfortunately, Maps has stopped.
No. Crewe Guards sign as far as Milton Keynes, both via Weedon, and via Northampton. Strangely, Crewe drivers sign only as far as Rugby. Link one Northampton guards sign Crewe, and one or two trains are worked throughout, from Euston, by the Northampton man. I have the diagrams if you're wanting to know which ones.......
Bletchley Guards bring most of the fliers to and from Milton Keynes, with Watford having one or two, and Northampton having a couple.

The reason they don't sign it is that they've never had a need to, with three depots south of Rugby that all sign as far as Euston, let alone the RMT having a dicky fit if it was sanctioned. There was a hare-brained scheme to get Crewe to sign Euston last year - they were going to sign the fast lines only, apparently........

Yes, but, as I previously stated, there are one or two that go all the way from Euston to Crewe with a Northampton Guard. There's only a couple of Crewes that go via Northampton, one dead early that starts there and a couple in the evening peak. All sunday Crewes go that way though. Bletchley Guards usually hand over at MKC, although they do/did have one job that goes via Weedon as far as Rugby - probably for route knowledge.
