England's next mammoth qualifying challenge...England vs Rothes.
Too easy (for Rothes, that is).
How about San Marino vs Rothes ?
And the winners play Hyde United.

There was a televised match on ITV at 1700 tonight, that I only watched until half-time. The words "creative midfield genius" that the media love to banter was nowhere to be seen. The two goals were a penalty and an own goal. I wonder if ITV had actually scripted that first-half as it was like watching a play from the 1960's where the Dog and Duck were playing the Flying Horse in a Sunday league match...

I suppose that explains today's result....
Rothes 0...Fort William 3
Fort William used to be rubbish. I mean, really, really rubbish! What's turned them round?

the most fantastic thing is that even though UEFA have made it MUCH easier to qualify for the euros the Scottish still cant do it!
Man City have paid £8m for a cripple. Very nice bit of business there by Aston Villa!
Eh; the Netherlands is in a much more worse shape.
1. Iceland * 8-19 (15- 3)
2. Czech Republic * 8-19 (16-10)
3. Turkye 8-12 (11- 9)
4. Netherlands 8-10 (13-10)
5. Letland 8- 4 ( 4-16)
6. Kazachstan 8- 2 ( 5-16)
But what do you expect if you know the last name of our national squad trainer.
Incidentally, is Danny Blind the father of the Manchester United player Daley Blind?
According to Wikipedia, yes.

Rooney's just scored his 50th goal. Shame it wasn't an own goal, really, because, if it was, Own Goals would become England's top scorer. No, really, it's on 49.
I see that in the big match tonight, the home side won 2-0.
Workington 2....Hyde United 0...
Now that is a spectacular factoid and no mistake. Superb sir.
A mouth-watering round of matches...*Next up is and FA cup/League home double v ....................... Hyde Utd!

Own Goal is doing brilliant for Arsenal this year. Fair play to the lad, stepping up to the mark when he's most needed, shows he can do it at this level.
The overrating of Rooney by today's media is nauseating. I remember Charlton and he delivered in the finals whereas all Rooney delivered was a red card.
Please stop calling him a 'legend'.

And whilst has stupid hair at least doesn't have a stupid comb over
And loads more don't and think its great that there is someone in their lifetime who has now taken the mantle that they can pass down to their kids.
Sure top goalscorer is a laudable aim, but he is no great, and that has to be separated .

Much of what gets thrown at Rooney is through spite, hate and dare I say it, jealousy, you only have to look at the childish insults above for proof. Yet like it or not, he is the record goalscorer for England and will certainly become the record goalscorer for Man Utd. Not too shabby really, is it.
No offence to San Marino or Switzerland but neither of those teams are likely to progress to the last-16 of a final now are they?
