For you maybe... I am yet to use the Llangadog Perjorative and cross your block. I can then play Mornington Crescent!
I don't think you do...
...and this leaves you all trapped in Nidd for three turns.
MC Intermediate Yuletide Variants for More Than Four Player Games - Chapter 154 (12 Days Variant) said:If a Player plays a Monopoly Card (deed) you must counter using:
- a Spell Card
- a parallel tetrahedral block
- a deed of higher value
If you are unable to block, you must move to Haslemere. If Haslemere has already been claimed, you must go to Nidd
Wisden wasn't the correct authority to use here, although I can see why you thought it was.
Whilst there is no doubt that the move is incorrect I think you'll find that it was incorrectly sequenced rather than that is was blocked. Important to get the terminology right on these things!
I'm not sure what authority you think supersedes Wisden so I'm going to have to call a foul on that. Can you provide the actual authority that should have been used?
Meanwhile as for your second paragraph I'm sure you can see why that is a bunch of old cobblers.

We should be using Widsen - your Baker Street on Day 4 sent us this way, Wisden's original grid doesn't cover the Post-Prandial situation otherwise.
Whilst I may have overlooked the lack of Haslemere it is still straightforward to see that calling it as blocked is incorrect. We would have needed ice for that, for crying out loud!
Personally I would have played Edgware Road in that situation. Keeps everyone that matters out of Nidd but also sets you up for collecting the bonus pot when trains to Paddington recommenced two days later. It's not my fault if you didn't think of that!I only played Baker Street as the only other choice was for everyone to end up in Nidd so don't blame this on me.
No, no, no! Were you not listening when I pointed out the incorrect sequencing earlier?!And I think you'll find that if you use the updated Wisden (i.e. the 1896 edition) you'll find that it doesn't cover the Post-Prandial situation as that has been replaced by the Pre-Heuristic phase. So, that resolves that I'm sure you'll agree!
Mordon is the key issue regardless, but I'm puzzled by your insistence that Sand is the medium. You're looking at the Original and Updated, yes? I couldn't find Sand in the glossary.Ice?! I thought this was the Twelve Days version! In which case the appropriate medium would be Sand and therefore Haslemere is irrelevant the key issue is Mordon!

I thought this was going to be simple to sort out...
You can't help everyone all the time - Edgware Road would have sustained more people for longer. The current situation we have with everyone dropping in and out of Nidd every third move that isn't a multiple of 7 came about because people like you were making antisocially soft moves. You should have considered the long term impact but it is far too late for regrets now.And who decides who 'matters'? I felt it more important that everyone is kept out of Nidd to ensure that everyone can the enjoy game. If that costs me personally then so be it. I mean really attacking someone for helping others what is the world coming to!
WHAT BLOCKING? There is no blocking! How could you even think there was blocking!!!Yes, yes, yes! I was listening and as I said then and I am saying now the sequencing is irrelevant and it's the blocking that's the issue. Anyone even passingly conversant with the rules can see that.
There is no need to be bitter about it.Hallelujah we agree on something!
I've found the rule you're trying to apply, and I think I've worked out what your mistake is - you need to write the year backwards, and in hexadecimal. And recheck the phasing of Jupiter. When Jupiter is in retrograde, Voyager 2 is outside of the Solar System and the year begins or ends with the number 7 then your choice of mediums is limited to Sand, Fire, Water, Pizza and Gravel.
You are starting to really confuse me with this talk of Wisden. The Amended uses Widsen exclusively, because her trigonometric tables work better in the late game. I had assumed you thought we were using OU because of Widsen (and lets be honest, they're a good approximation unless there's exponential phasing) but now you reveal you think we're using OUA I just don't know what to think.Original, Updated and Amended! You need that version of Wisden. Come on it's right there on page 1092 paragraph 8.6.
How dare you! If you continue to fling such language around I will have to report you to a moderator!Well if people will insist on flagrant disregard of the rules...
