Fine.

And you are 15? It would explain a lot.Because my grandmother lives in Manchester, my uncle lives in Llandudno and I love Virgin. Therefore - I go on Pendolinos regularly.
An example of how regularly: The last time was Saturday. The next time will be 3rd January. I might also fit in an extra trip over late December.
Was that yesterday? You were not in any sense controversial.Ok, I'm sorry. That was probably before the withdrawal of my stupid "controversial" image.
Late October and I made it public so people were aware. Was that yesterday? You were not in any sense controversial.
You really have a lot to learn.
Mate you know what I don't want to put you in your place. I just got to thinking you were a bit younger than me. I should be saying sorry if I was putting you down. It is great that you are strong willed and are in to traveling, keep it up. I hope you get to travel like I have, it may change you opinions on some stuff, it may not. I think you are slightly wrong regarding age though, being young doesn't mean you aren't intelligent, but in general it means you just haven't experienced as much as some other people. Now in some cases some young people experience some incredible things at a very young age, in many cases they don't and don't have a clue about the world around them.Late October and I made it public so people were aware.
So you don't need to worry. Especially as I'm very aware that if this conversation continues a moderator will close my thread which was going well until this happened. And I don't want that to happen so feel free to put me in my place via PM or a new thread.
@fowler9 that goes for you too. And as for age you are wrong it explains nothing, please don't let that affect anything. Quite a few members of this forum are in their mid teens and are perfectly sensible well respected members of the site, some even have titled roles. Just because I seem to accidentally dig myself holes don't take it out on the other teen users of the forum, it isn't fair on them.
I am very mature for my age too believe it or not, but when it comes to railways I admit I am too passionate about my ideas and unfortunately the maturity I promise you I normally possess to drift away. Just don't let that affect others on the forum who are the same age as me, I can think of many but I won't be naming and shaming.
Once again if you wish to put me in my place do so via a PM or new thread for sure because although I'm interested to hear what you want to say about me (I am in no way thin skinned) I don't want my thread to be closed.
Regards.

I am surprised the pendo still splits opinion as it does. I wonder if any other train in the past has, or if the 700 / 800 will in 15 years time?
They do. But I can’t see them causing the same grief in 2 years time. The IEP May do. The 700 may be the new pacer (no they are not that bad)You think the 700s don’t already?
Let me fix that for you:They are great for the travelling public, plenty of capacity, WiFi, plug sockets, DDA compliant, modern looking, high back seating and they are great politically, being environmentally friendly.

Let me fix that for you:
They are poor for the travelling public, very minimal extra capacity (only 13 extra Standard Class seats on an entire eleven car Pendo vs VTEC HST,
Exactly and surely all there products must come from the same supplier or unless they buy lower quality voyager food cheaper lol. What difference does a type of train operated by the same company on the same service make to the catering?
No worries mate, no need to apologise. Keep up the traveling.Hey thanks man, that’s really nice of you to say! Sorry I was a bit blunt! Yeah travelling is great, and addictive, Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Wales, Scotland, Barbados and St Lucia have been visited since 2016 and you do get to experience great stuff!
I suppose if you've only ever eaten brown rice, and you think brown rice is amazing, then you've never missed lobster thermidor because you've never had it.
Have I gone all Yoda now?![]()
It's a metaphor.Say what now???
It is perhaps, although the narrative is a little on the thin side and it's more about a specific point than a wider concept like human nature or something that is usually associated with an allegory. Does GCSE English even have the difference between a metaphor and an allegory in it?I’d say it was more of an allegory.
The issues like lack of elbow room and no window view do not really affect First Class - but they do affect most seats on the train.I will thanks, my brother and I have a first class Scotland trip coming up on Pendolinos in January, so I’ll see if I can identify all of the problems raised today!
Mark 2F?Nothing compares with the MK3 on the WCML.
Mark 2F?
Agree with that. WCML 2Fs and 3As were pretty much indistinguishable internally. Normals wouldn't notice the difference.
I'm in Year 10 and I don't know that!It's a metaphor.
I'm sure Year 10 students should know that![]()

Also, when do we ever expect to see a refurbishment of the Pendelinos?
I think it was an assumption based on your ageWho says I’m in Year Ten by the way?
